Minor syntax issue: You'll have to refer to the card's full name instead of "it" as "it" doesn't have anything it can refer to.

I take it you are using old terminology on purpose to match the frames? If not, spells are "cast" nowadays (again).

You may also want to make the alternate cost U instead of 1, but the 1 would be OK. All in all, a nicely balanced card.
